While the Japanese got their hands on the Nintendo 3DS back in February, here in the states, the 3DS just launched this past Sunday, the 27th. At launch 16 games were available, including:
Nintendo held launch events across the country for the event, with the grand attractions at the Union Square Best Buy, where Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime made a special appearance and cheered up the crowd.
So far, there are no widespread shortages, but a few GameStop locations have reported that they “only received enough 3DS’s to fill their pre-orders.” More 3DS systems are coming around April 1st, but huge shipments are not expected.
At launch, many features are not available for the handheld, including a web browser, eShop, DSiWare transfers, 3D video content, and Netflix support. Fils-Aime did hint at the launch of the eShop though, stating that, "There’s gonna be another update coming in May, and that’s gonna be a whole new exclusive gateway to all kinds of different 3D content. A huge library of nostalgic as well as brand new games." Nintendo has also partnered with AT&T, bringing free Wi-Fi access to 10,0000 hotspots in late May.
The Nintendo 3DS is an exciting little system and we’ll let you know how we think about it once we get our hands on one.

First, Apple paired the iPhones from both networks to waltz music, showing off that both phones are equally as capable. Then, Verizon targeted AT&T, bringing back their famous Verizon guy to show that the iPhone can finally make calls. Now, AT&T has fired back, showing off that using voice and data at the same time can be important during certain occasions.
Now that Verizon and AT&T are done talking down on each other, can’t we all just get along?
